Want more ways to impress your new house mates?

Cool food - Cheesy bread

If you don’t fancy being the king/queen of alcohol in your new student digs why not try other ways of being awesome on those first weeks! Trust me, your new ‘roomies’ will love you for it.

Cool food option 1: Super easy cheesy bread. It looks great, tastes amazing, fills many tummies and it’s easy peasy! The chives are optional, you could also add tomato ketchup for a pizza feel cheesy bread loaf. Yummy!

(Tip: Your local supermarket will sell loaves of bread like this dirt cheap if you get it near the end of the day.)

Cool food option 2: This is one for the ladies. Cute little bunny bread. Just snip them to make their ears, make their little eyes with the tip of a knife or prong of a fork, and pop them in the oven until golden.

(Tip: You can buy un-baked buns at your local supermarket. Don’t worry, you won’t have to make the dough!)

Cool food option 3: Hilarious soup tubs. Although this may look tricky, it’s easy. trust me. Soup straight from a tin, boil some rice and mold up your men! To add their facial expressions use a food dye dipped chopstick, or something thin.

(Tip: Wait until the rice has cooled slightly to mold your men and make sure it’s a slightly stodgy as it acts like a glue!)

Cool food option 4: Octopus hot dogs! This is probably the easiest of them all but so fun. Just cut off the ends of some tinned hot dogs, snip into them to make their tentacles and use the scissors to add a little face. A small dipping plate with your choice of sauce. Tasty!

(Tip: Try this with any kind of sausage and animate your bangers and (instant) mash dish! You could make them swim in gravy, literally.)
